What Are Anti-Wrinkle Treatments?
Anti-wrinkle treatments use small, carefully placed injections to temporarily relax selected facial muscles.

The Product We Use
Where clinically appropriate following assessment, Dr Waseem Ahmed uses BOTOX®, a botulinum toxin type A prescription medicine manufactured by Allergan.
It is a well-established product used in medical and aesthetic practice. The product, dose and treatment areas selected will depend on your individual assessment. Treatment is only provided when considered clinically appropriate and prescribed by Dr Ahmed.

What to Expect
Before treatment
Dr Ahmed will assess your facial movement, review your medical history and discuss the result you would like to achieve. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before deciding whether to proceed.
During treatment
Small amounts of the prescribed product are placed into selected muscles using a fine needle. The procedure is generally quick, and most clients describe only brief, mild discomfort.
After treatment
You should be able to return to most normal daily activities shortly afterwards. Temporary redness, swelling or small marks may be visible around the injection sites.
You will receive personalised aftercare instructions, which may include temporarily avoiding strenuous exercise and pressure or massage over the treated areas.
When Will I See Results?
Initial changes may become noticeable within several days, with the full effect generally developing over approximately two weeks.
Results commonly last around three to four months, although this varies according to the individual, treatment area, dose and muscle activity. Maintenance treatment can be discussed as movement gradually returns.
